Electric vehicle (EV) charging
Ground Control Charger Network

Ten 22kW EV chargers are located in car park V (park map). You will need to contact electricvehiclecharging@bt.com to use this network, which can then be accessed via an RFID card or an App. This network is on a pay-as-you-go option and you will need to supply your own charging lead.

BP Charger Network

Four 7kW EV chargers are located in car park E, next to the Hub (park map). You will need to contact electricvehiclecharging@bt.com to use this network, which can be accessed via an RFID card. This network is on a pay-as-you-go option and you will need to supply your own charging lead. BP also offers a monthly subscription to cover its public charging network for anyone wanting to add additional fees and charger access options beyond the private BT network.

Ubitricity Charger Network

Ubitricity EV charging points are located in two lamp posts in car park X, at the end nearest Antares (park map). They have a per-kWh charge on a pay-as-you-use basis. They are designated as "Destination Charging" points, so they only supply power at around 2kW, but it is expected that people will stay connected all day. To use the chargers, scan the QR code on the lamp post and enter payment details into your mobile phone - this only needs to be done once. It is also possible to register for an account on the Ubitricity portal, but it is not necessary to use the chargers. For any issues with the chargers you can contact them at support@ubitricity.co.uk.

Connected Kerb Charger Network

Pairs of Connected Kerb EV charging points can be found in car park B, Oberon car park U and the external visitors car park (park map). They have been provided through the DigiTech Centre project and are available to everyone on site to charge EVs. You can start using these as soon as you download the Connected Kerb app and set yourselves up a new profile (takes 2 mins). Pricing information can be found in the app and on the Connected Kerb website. As these chargers are run and managed by Connected Kerb please can we ask you raise any issues or problems with them directly - Connected Kerb App for Drivers (Android: Google Play store / Apple: App store).

Charging points shown near B56 (park map) are for electric bicycle recharging only.

All charge points should only be used in accordance with vehicle manufacturers' guidance, using correct undamaged cables. Vehicles should be parked safely, fully within the bay, and cables should not pass across walkways, vehicle routes, or other bays. Charge point users should vacate the charging bay as soon as their vehicle is sufficiently charged.
