Which of these concerns you most: depletion of fossil fuel energy resources or global warming? In this talk Dave Faulkner will explain how we can tackle both of these important issues at the same time. Biochar is carbon made from biomass from a sustainable source and has a multiplicity of benefits which include the removal of carbon from the carbon cycle and its use as a soil enhancer. Some example applications will be discussed which have already been implemented and show some possible new ones, including how to make an environmentally-friendly camping stove which produces biochar and sets you on track to – Get Charring!
