As part of Prospect week there will be a series of talks in the Sir Alan Rudge Lecture Theatre, starting at 12:30, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All welcome. Anyone joining during Prospect week will have their names put into a draw to receive a prize of ethically sourced goodies.
Monday 14 November: Hot topics with Martin Aylett
An interactive session on the progress Prospect is making on negotiations with BT, starting at 12:30 in the Sir Alan Rudge lecture theatre.
Tuesday 15 November: ‘Climate Change and Adaptation in Kenya’ with Beverley Hall, Prospect International Development Coordinator, starting at 12:30 in the Sir Alan Rudge lecture theatre.
Wednesday 16 November: ‘Bullying, discrimination, unfair performance rating’
There is a change to the schedule tomorrow. Steph Marston, Prospect’s Director of Organisation and Development along with our very own Paul Sharples will be talking about helping members with problems in the workplace. These include bullying, challenging performance ratings, discrimination cases, etc. Steph and Paul will talk about the process, how the union helps and also how successful we have been.
Thursday 17 November: Financial advice from Lighthouse financial planning. These are individual sessions with an independent financial advisor, and are only available for Prospect members. Please e-mail Laura Tekoriute to book your place.
Friday 18 November: Meet the committee in the Douglas Bader
