Would you like to learn to speak a little French ready for you holidays?  Perhaps you already speak some French but would like to improve?  Whatever your level, why not join our lunchtime sessions – Tuesdays (Beginner and Advanced) or Thursdays (Improver and Intermediate)?  Groups are taught by an experienced French teacher in an informal and enjoyable manner.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the volleyball games scheduled to take place today, Tuesday 31 July, between 12:00 – 14:00, have been cancelled.

On Thursday 2 August between 12:00 – 13:30, Robo-lympics will be running in the Hub.  Further information about that can be found at the website. The sailing club and golfing society will also be in the hub.  Come and have a go at a putting challenge.

There will also be cycling and rowing challenges taking place in the Hub between 12:00 – 14:00 on Friday 3 August.

The BT Accessibility Practice in conjunction with the BT Usability Team, Able 2, and BTID Inclusion and Age & Disability Research Programmes & BT engagement with Paralympics will be hosting an Accessibility & Usability event at Adastral Park on Wednesday 8 August 2012, in the Hub concourse, from 11.00 – 14.00.

The aim of this event is to allow you to have a look at some of the accessibility solutions that we can provide and to answer any questions that you may have in relation to accessibility and usability. For more Information please look at the event information page on the BT Accessibility Practice intranet site.

Representatives from Able2 will be available to say what they do and what they can offer BT employees.

The screens in the Hub will be streaming various Olympic events throughout each day during the week.

The Suffolk Police Community Support Officers will be in the Hub at lunchtime on Monday 23 July.

Prospect will be in the Hub on Thursday 26 July at lunchtime.

There are no events planned for the Hub during this week.

BTID’s Mary Hills, will be in the Hub lunchtime on Friday 13 July with her Olympic Torch to raise money for Cancer Campaign in Suffolk.  Mary carried the torch the Rayleigh-Southend leg 70 on Friday 6 July. 

On Tuesday 10 July, IP5alive will be present in the Hub at lunchtime to promote ip5alive’s summer camps.

Prospect will be in the Hub on Thursday 12 July at lunchtime.
