As the sun shines (some of the time!) it might be strange to think of autumn already, but the RSPCA will be holding a live music night – a Halloween Monster Bash – on Saturday 27 October.
For those of you who were able to attend the event held in February, this promises to be as much fun with local band ‘The Invited’ (back by popular demand) playing a mix of pop, rock and Motown (plus Halloween favourites – think ‘Monster Mash’ and ‘Timewarp’)…
Doors open at 7pm; a buffet is included. The venue is Ransomes Sports & Social Club, Sidegate Avenue, Ipswich. Halloween fancy dress is optional but why not join in – there will be prizes! There will also be a raffle on the night. Please email Melayna Yeo for tickets (£10 for adults; £5 for children) – your evening of Halloween fun will raise funds for the RSPCA Suffolk East & Ipswich branch whose work helps local animals.
Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish? Weekly classes will be restarting on 11 September for students with some basic knowledge of the language, and also for beginners. Classes will be held on Tuesdays at Adastral Park;
