2013 is the centenary of Benjamin Britten and is being marked by a series of special and exciting performances of his music, especially at Snape and Aldeburgh.

Woodbridge Choral Society and Ipswich School Chapel Choir are celebrating by performing Britten’s Spring Symphony at Snape Maltings on 16 March at 7.30pm. The concert is in aid of Home Start.  We are offering the opportunity to buy tickets from choir members here at Adastral at lunchtime on 4 March in the Hub.

The concert also celebrates the 70th birthday of composer Howard Blake (composer of Walking in the Air, the music for The Snowman), by performing his Passion of Mary Oratorio. Howard Blake himself is to attend the concert.
