The BT Accessibility Practice will be hosting an Accessibility event in the Hub at Adastral Park between 11.00-14.00 on Wednesday 16 October.
The main objectives of the event are to raise visibility of accessibility solutions to those in Adastral Park, the support available to disabled BT employees & customers and empower BT people to deal with accessibility and inclusion in their own workplace
There will also be representatives from able2 and the Age & Disability Research Programme.
The event is open to anyone and would be particularly suitable to those with a disability looking for a reasonable adjustment, managers with staff who require a reasonable adjustment and those with an interest in accessibility.

BT Accessibility Practice
The BT Accessibility Practice acts as a central point of focus for IT accessibility within BT and is responsible for ensuring that BT people who require an IT reasonable adjustment have a simple route to enable this.
There will be advice available on assistive technology, desktop hardware such as mice, keyboards, and headsets.
BT Age & Disability Research Programme
BT’s research team will be on hand to talk about accessibility research.
A representative from able2 will be in attendance providing advice on what they can offer BT employees.
