The Robotics and Drone lab is up and running at Adastral Park

On the inside of the lab it's a great environment to carry out research and it is an impressive space to showcase BT's capabilities. Health and safety is a vital part of UAV (Unmanned Airborne Vehicle) activity and there is a huge 'drone net' to ensure that our drone research is performed safely.

Applied Research's Simon Beddus remarked, “The Drone and Robotics lab enables BT to evaluate state of the art UAVs and cyberphysical systems in a safe controlled environment before progressing to external deployments. The lab helps fast-tracks the traditional debugging cycle whilst providing a fantastic showcase for our drone research, whatever the weather.”
