Preparations for the trial are currently on-going and we hope to have the radio equipment mounted at the Kesgrave exchange site (IP5 1BL) within the next couple weeks. Following some signal validation tests, the trial will start late January/early February.

We’re looking for volunteers who would be interested in trialling the solution; preferably in the red areas highlighted in the attached. This would involve deploying a small radio node in a suitable place, like a side wall for example, pointing towards Kesgrave exchange. The radio node will be connected with cable to a router which will be provided. The trialist can download and upload as much and as often as possible over a two month period. There’s no billing involved, all data will be free of charge and post-trial will be made good.

A more detailed plan of activities and trial resources (including information on installation, terms and conditions, FAQs etc.) will be shared over the coming weeks, but first we need to gather names and post codes of volunteers who would be willing to take part.

Please contact Alex Buchanan with your details.

Thank you in advance for your support.
