Virtual Reality has finally reached the “plateaux of usefulness” on the classic tech adoption curve. One of the applications of VR that delivers well proven benefit is it’s use in corporate learning and training. It achieves far higher levels of engagement and learning retention than traditional digital learning methods.

This talk will look at the evidence for this, explore how companies around the world are using VR to improve their training and solve tricky learning challenges. Finally the session will cover the VRtuoso VR learning system, it’s features look at some sample customer case studies

PERSONAL PROFILE - Matt
Matt Lawson has over 20 years’ experience leading Innovation and R&D in one of the world’s leading Telecommunications and ICT companies. As Director of Applied Innovation he led the creation of BT’s Applied Technology Centre, which included running BT’s Hothouse and Innovation Showcases and the Innovation Martlesham tech cluster. Prior to this he was Head of Multimedia Research as well as having experience in both project and programme management. Matt has been delivering projects for VRtuoso with companies such as EE, Belfast Harbour, Glasgow University and Pfizer. He is also a certified leadership coach, experienced mentor and chartered engineer.
