Adastral Park Sports Day

Get ready because sports day is back!
We are excited to announce that we will be holding this year's sports day for BT people and Adastral Park residents on Friday 5 July.
Adastral Park Sports day will be supporting our charity partner Home-Start.
A recommended donation for this charity is between £2 and £5 per person; team players' recommended donation is £20 per team. As the sports day is supporting Home-Start, BT employees taking part can register the day as a BT Volunteer day.

To register you will need a team, with a maximum of 10 people. The minimum number of players per team will depend on the group of activities you choose but remember each player you have scores you a point, and the more players you have per team the more flexible you can be.
Each team will participate in one of three group options available.
Note that the event is open to BT and Adastral Park residents only.

We need you to volunteer!
In order to make this a success, we need volunteers to help with a variety of activities both leading up to, and on the day itself including:
- Preparation activities
- Marshalling
- Umpiring
- Scoring
- Charity tent

Team events
Grab some of your colleagues and join us in the team events we're running on the day. You'll then need to select which one of the four group options your team is going to enter. Each team can only enter one group. Once entered, you can select who from your team takes part in each event.

Scoring
The scoring is secondary to the taking part, but let's be honest, we've all got a bit of a competitive streak - so we are going to have a winning team, and here's how we're going to work it out!
- 1 point for each team member that participates
- Team events: 1st = 10 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 2 points
- Individual events (separate male / female tables): 1st = 8 points, 2nd = 4 points, 3rd = 2 points
