Note – change of time:
Parmjit’s talk on “Parliamentary Tools of the Trade” will now commence at 1:00 PM on Tuesday 26th June in the Crucible Studio rather than the previously advertised 12 noon. Parmjit will be meeting with the Liberal Democrats in the morning about regional pay, hence the change of time. If you want to ask him aboout this or any other aspect of his work then come along and ask him.
Former MP and minister Parmjit Dhanda will be giving a lunchtime talk Tuesday 26 June courtesy of Prospect – the union for professionals. All on site are welcome to attend this event. Arrive early as seating is limited.
Parmjit Dhanda held 3 ministerial posts in his time as Member of Parliament for Gloucester (June 2001 – May 2010). He is now Parliamentary and Campaigns Officer for the Prospect Trade Union, a non-executive director of Hanover Housing Association and the director of a public affairs company which he set up. He remains the only minister of Indian heritage to have served in the British government. Parmjit is well worth listening to. He is a great communicator and adept at working with both people of all political persuasions.
