A set of situational experiences to demonstrate how new technologies can be used in a range of scenarios. The showcases cover a number of different industry sectors, as it is also useful to see how technology is being used across different sectors that may then be able to be applied to the sector of interest. The showcases are also used to spark debate about different use cases, and to tease out the key issues that need to be addressed.

A dedicated space to enable collaborative working between different organisations, either face to face or remotely. A key capability is the need to support collaboration, so the physical room has been designed to support face to face working with a boardroom, mini break out areas and moveable seating, as well as a "show and tell" space to present back on progress. All areas are supported by fully connected large screen monitors to enable full remote capability across all areas. Also available at Adastral are a number of lecture theatres for larger audiences, as well as a hothouse capability to support co-innovation projects.

The Digital Industries Innovation Hub will provide a testbed for partners to use to enable them to turn ideas into prototypes and develop any applications or services needed. This testbed can also be used for external trials, with a defined set of processes to enable rapid prototyping and testing of ideas with real customers.

With the Digital Industries Innovation Hub being based at Adastral Park, it also enables access and use of the wider range of technical labs on site, covering items such as 5G, a number of IoT networks, volumetric capture, and robotics and drone labs.

There will be a set of events during the year focussing on specific topics and industry challenges. From forums to technology events and festivals, the Digital Industries Innovation Hub will give its members many opportunities to meet and collaborate.
