A Great turnout as DigiTech Centre launches first Digital Futures Institute event
Prof Nicholas Caldwell outlined the main benefits of studying with the University of Suffolk (UoS) at Adastral Park, including the tech-focused taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in computer science, AI and cybersecurity, student projects (up to 1 year), internships and the hands-on apprenticeship programme. Cathy Johnson, the UoS Placement Consultant, outlined the benefits of the knowledge transfer partnership programme, accessing innovation vouchers (up to 14k) and other bespoke business services. Dr Keith Hotchkiss shared his experiences of studying on a masters and doctoral programme and the benefits he gained from it – he now works as a business lecturer in the university. Nicky Daniels outlined the many benefits of joining the Innovation Martlesham family giving examples of how they can support businesses and help them to grow and prosper. The team will be surveying businesses soon to find out how they can personalise these services more for companies, develop a responsive training programme of short courses and provide greater support for skills gaps, increasing regional growth and supporting wellbeing.
