We have been successfully coordinating the production of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Face Shields at Adastral Park from resources donated to us from an army of volunteers. Our Exhibition Hall has become the main hub for receiving, assembling and then distributing the Shields to those in need.

Thanks to our generous volunteers who have been tremendous in donating laser cut shields, 3D printed frames and acetate, we have now delivered over 19,000 protective shields to over 500 different organisations. These organisations include; Hospitals, GPs, Care Homes, St Elizabeth Hospice, In Home Carers, Dentists, Opticians and Schools. Many are located close to Adastral Park but we have also distributed nationwide and even to Ireland!

Over 120 individuals, organisations and companies have sent in 3D frames or readymade shields! THANK YOU! You are all heroes!!

We have had coverage on Radio Suffolk, Ipswich Star, BBC Look East, ITV Anglia News and the BT newsroom.

If you know of any Care, Health or School Workers who are in need of Face Shields please ask them to email us at computerscience@bt.com with their details and requirements.
