Dane Ralston is the founder and Managing Director of iOpt Limited. With 20+ years of remote asset monitoring in a variety of sectors from energy distribution, automotive and aerospace to ATM machines. Dane set up iOpt Limited in 2016 to help the managers of social housing properties better understand how their homes were performing with regards to energy efficiency initially.

The benefits of monitoring the environment in homes was quickly realised to have many more benefits than just energy efficiency tracking and the company started helping with predictive maintenance and tenancy management. The company has now branched out further to a number of sectors where similar use cases are gaining more use with better understanding of how data can make businesses more efficient.

Data analysis, interpretation, insights and solutions presentation is the core of iOpts offering.

Dane lives in Scotland and enjoys sailing, golf and mountain sports with his friends and family when not working.
