Gabriela is a global executive with extensive international business experience in the Telecom & IT industry. She has worked for numerous multinational organizations leading large scale transformations and turnarounds, as well as led business lines with profit and loss, taking them from ideation to commercialization. She has lived in 12 countries and worked in 10 countries across three continents.
Gabriela is currently a Board Member of TDC Net, the leading Danish Network Service Provider, and Board Member of GLEIF (Global Legal Identity Identifier) which was founded by the G-20 Financial Stability Board to increase transparency in financial markets. Gabriela has served as Corporate Chief Strategy Officer at Nokia, Deputy Chief Opertating Officer and VP Group Networks at Telia Company, VP Networks and TILabs at Telecom Italia, and held numerous executive positions at Ericsson across Research, Product Development, Product Management, and Business Line, as well as in start-up.
She holds a dipl. in Power Engineering from Sweden, a Master of Business Administration from University of Durham Business School, and a Master in International Affairs with specialism in Cybersecurity from King's College London.
Gabriela has received numerous personal recognitions such as "Top 100 most influential in the world of 5G, 2020" by InformaTechHQ, "Top 20 most influential in Nordics in influencing 5G for good" by TelecomN and "50 Women to watch" by Global Telcoms Business. In 2014 she was selected to participate in Women Up, an International leadership program launched under the initiative of Hillary Clinton International Women's Council.
