Kingstun Nelson is an Associate Director within Lloyds Bank's dedicated Sustainability and ESG Finance team. This 30+ person team has extensive expertise across ESG consultancy, ESG ratings, climate strategy, climate policy, and sustainable financing - acting as a centre of excellence to support Lloyds bank's corporate clients and financial institutions through their ESG journey.

Kingstun is Lloyds ESG Finance lead for the hard to abate sectors including energy, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and transport (non-exhaustive). He has contributed to over £2bn of Lloyds' sustainable lending to clients across a range of green, social, and sustainability linked solutions - bringing corporate finance strategies together with their ESG strategies. Previously, in a similar capacity, Kingstun supported corporates in the real estate, house builder, and social housing sector. He is also leading and supporting a range of strategic ESG partnerships, noting the need for collaboration between the private sector, public sector, third sector, and academia to drive tangible change. Outcomes from these partnerships range from the creation of thought leadership and data insight tools, to interactive workshops for future generations designed to facilitate social mobility and interest in ESG.

Kingstun has completed a course with the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, on the Sustainability Essentials for Business. He is currently enrolled on a bespoke Net Zero Technologies programme facilitated by the University of Edinburgh, diving into the net zero technologies of the future, such as carbon capture, energy storage, and biofuels.
