Meet Professor Sir Mike Richards
A distinguished medical professional, Professor Sir Mike Richards has made huge advances in the world of diagnostics and was commissioned to undertake a review of NHS diagnostics capacity (NHS Long Term Plan). Following from the review, he wrote the independent report ‘Diagnostics: Recovery and Renewal’, which recommends the need for a new diagnostic model to support earlier diagnosis and help reduce health inequalities.
